Shelly graduated from Arden University in 2020 with an LLB in Law. She then attended the Eugene Dupuch Law School, where she obtained a Legal Education Certificate in 2022. Shelly is a member of the Bahamas Bar Association (BBA), Commonwealth Lawyers Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). Before becoming an attorney, Shelly served as the Firm’s Accountant for over twenty years.

Having worked in the legal field for over twenty years, she has gleaned various skills and knowledge of the legal profession, which has assisted her in a seamless transition to becoming a member of the Bahamas Bar for which she has always had a passion.

Since being admitted to the BBA, Shelly has eagerly embraced and shown a keen interest in various aspects of the law, especially litigation, commercial and family law. Shelly advocates for justice, especially for individuals who are downtrodden and in need of access to the law.

Shelly is married to Lynden Nairn and is the proud mother of two daughters and one grandson. She is an active member of Kingdom Life Ministries, serving as the Sound Engineer. She enjoys travelling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
